For the dishwasher to clean germ-free, it needs care itself. According to a study by the University of Copenhagen, the most stubborn and sometimes health-threatening fungi and bacteria, such as E.coli or Pseudomonas, Escherichia and Acinetobacter, or bacteria that typically colonize human skin or intestines, such as staphylococci, streptococci and enterococci, cavort here. In other studies, the yeast Candida formed initial colonies first, followed in time by colony formations of the yeast genera Cryptococcus and Rhodotorula. In every third machine, the researchers also detected the pathogenic fungi Exophiala and Aureobasidium. Most of these are harmless, but some can be dangerous to people with weak immune systems, especially if they enter the respiratory tract through the hot steam.

TiefenReiniger has been specially developed and tested to meet the demands of everyday work. It is tried and tested and is particularly convincing due to its high cleaning performance. Not every user of a dishwasher owns a type with self-cleaning/automatic cleaning of the interior. But even then, dishes with food residues that have been insufficiently wiped off cause continuous soiling of the machines due to the high dirt loads. Together with the overloading of the rinsing process and non-implemented regular cleaning measures, this leads to deposits, incrustations and biofilms in the machine. In the interior of the machine, these deposits are usually not visible, because they form in all inaccessible places, such as: in the pumps, pipes, filters, spray arms or strainers.

500 ml high concentrate for 1 application

Application

Important: DO NOT add any dishes or cleaning agent. -> Empty rinse cycle! Select a program without pre-rinse cycle but with the highest temperature (at least 60°C).

If the pre-rinse cycle cannot be switched off, first let it finish completely. Then stop as soon as the main rinse program starts, e.g. by opening the machine interior, and empty the 500 ml bottle directly into the interior. Allow the rinse program to finish at a minimum of 60°C and then pump out.

Frequency of use

Depends on the frequency of use / number of dishwasher fillings.

We recommend deep cleaning every 3-4 months.

Ingredients

According to Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents:

Aqua, DL-malic acid, monosodium citrate, citric acid, aluminum citrate hydroxy complexes, sodium sulfate, alkyl ether carboxylic acid, fatty alcohol alkoxylate Contains < 5% anionic surfactants.

Biodegradable: according to (EC) No. 648/2004, the surfactants contained meet the required degradability within 28 days.

Tip:

Nevertheless, do not forget the manual cleaning of the parts that can be reached: Rubber seals, sieves and also make sure that no foreign bodies get into the drain line and clog it.

IMPORTANT:

Due to misleading and false statements about what all can be cleaned in a dishwasher, things often end up in the dishwasher (e.g. sponges, rags, shoes) that have no place there from a hygienic point of view. High temperatures do help to kill germs, but the use of ECO and economy programs, temperatures that are set too low and incorrect dosing of the detergent often mean that the disinfection effect is not achieved. Dishwashers of modern design reach temperatures of at least 60°C in the rinse tank (cleaning at 55°-60°) and at least 71°-85°C during the final rinse. In this way, grease is also effectively removed and germs die off.
